Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain the cleanliness of common areas in office buildings and other facilities in San Diego. You will perform routine cleaning, trash removal, restroom checks, and lobby maintenance to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for occupants and visitors.

Responsibilities include polishing doors, vacuuming elevators, reporting maintenance issues, and assisting building engineers as needed.

Qualifications

• Attendance and punctuality as essential expectations.
• Follows instructions and takes responsibility for actions.
• Maintains safety and security procedures on site.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors.
• Polish chrome on lobby doors.
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cabs doors, walls, and tops twice a day.
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up trash.
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor.
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles.
• Check restrooms twice daily.
• Vacuum lobby daily or as needed.
• Sweep stairwells and landings as needed.
• Remove debris from landscaped areas as needed.
• Sweep building entrances.
• Clean and remove smudges on walls, doors, and wall coverings.
• Report lights out to Management.
• Report solicitors to Management.
• Patrol lobby to keep floors and planters free of paper and debris.
• Policing should be scheduled at high-traffic times daily.
• Empty all trash receptacles.
• Vacuum carpeted floors.
• Dust mop lobby floors twice daily.
• Polish elevator cab railings, doors and lobby buttons.
• Assist building Engineer daily as directed.
