Job summary

Merchants Building Maintenance, LLC is seeking a Day Porter to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of a designated area, including buildings, apartments, hospitals, warehouses, or malls. Responsibilities are flexible per supervisor/client needs, with emphasis on safety and thoroughness.

Core tasks include moving supplies, replacing light bulbs, basic repairs, inspecting facilities, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Able to work well with all levels of employees and managers.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Ability to perform job with minimal supervision.
• Regular and timely attendance.

Responsibilities

• Move furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Use a step ladder to replace light bulbs.
• Paint and patch work as needed.
• Replace batteries on smoke detectors.
• Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment.
• Handle repairs and maintenance; collaborate with team and contractors.
