The position offers a 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, with potential evening and weekend events.

Qualifications

Must pass fingerprint-based criminal background check for school employment.
Ability to perform physical work: walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling.
Reliable, dependable, and committed to excellent customer service.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic smartphone or computer skills to record work hours accurately.
Ability to work in a smoke-free, tobacco-free, and drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and common areas.
Sweep, vacuum, dust, wet mop, and dry mop floors.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Clean windows, doors, and other interior surfaces.
Remove debris from building entrances and surrounding grounds.
Set up and break down tables, chairs, and furniture for school events.
Perform periodic floor care and carpet maintenance during school breaks.
Perform porter duties, including moving boxes, furniture, and supplies, and completing other assigned tasks as needed.
Follow company safety procedures, cleaning standards, and quality expectations.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Day Porter/ Custodian to perform general cleaning and floor care in an educational facility in the Brentwood area. This position plays an important role in providing a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, faculty, and visitors.

Responsabilities

Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and common areas.
Sweep, vacuum, dust, wet mop, and dry mop floors.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.

Work schedule:

40 hours per week.
Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid meal break.
Occasional evening and weekend work required to support special events throughout the year.
