Job summary

Velociti Services is seeking a Porter to maintain cleanliness and appearance across facilities and grounds. You will perform routine cleaning, waste removal, material transport, and general facility support tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for occupants and visitors.

Responsibilities include cleaning entrances, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas; disposing of trash; reporting safety concerns; and assisting with event setup and projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous porter, janitorial, custodial, facilities, or general labor experience preferred.
• Customer-facing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of entrances, lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and common areas.
• Collect, remove, and dispose of trash and recycling throughout the facility.
• Clean and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning.
• Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance, safety, or security concerns to management.
• Assist with furniture movement, event setup, and special projects as needed.
• Remove debris and litter from building grounds, parking areas, and exterior walkways.
• Clean glass surfaces, doors, and windows within reach.
• Respond promptly to spills, emergencies, and customer service requests.
• Maintain supply inventories and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment and PPE safely and effectively.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in commercial buildings, office complexes, educational facilities, healthcare environments, residential communities, transportation hubs, or other public facilities.
