Job summary

Versatex in Aliquippa seeks entry level Material Handlers for a fast-paced warehouse role. You will inspect, package, label, and move material to finished goods, using forklifts and QC checks to ensure quality to within 1/32 inch. The job involves long standing hours and overtime in a production setting.

Shifts run 7:00am–7:00pm with a $22.23/hour pay and a sign-on bonus program: $1500 upfront, plus increments after 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year.

Qualifications

• Basic math and counting skills, including fractions and decimals.
• Good written and verbal communication for daily reporting.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality during probation.
• Complete Material Handler and Forklift Training Programs.
• Proficiency with Core computer system and Black Book specs.

Responsibilities

• Attend shifts punctually and follow scheduled line plans.
• Notify supervisor of issues and relay information to leads.
• Read and interpret safety rules and SOPs.
• Perform basic math and count boards/sheets.
• Identify and report machine issues; maintain QC checks.
• Follow 5-S standards and prepare materials for packaging.
• Operate PPE procedures and use QC tools as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in Fab work areas.
