Job summary

James Hardie Building Products Inc., within the AZEK Group family, invites applications for a Day and Night Material Handler at the Versatex plant in Aliquippa. This entry-level warehouse role is fast-paced and labor-intensive, focusing on quality control as materials move from line to skid, then to packaging.

Shifts 7:00 am–7:00 pm, pay $22.23 per hour, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus and stepped bonuses after 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year.

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic math and able to count boards and sheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Complete Material Handler and Forklift Training Programs.
• Proficient in Core computer system and Black Book specs.
• Able to read safety rules and SOPs and perform QC checks.

Responsibilities

• Notify shift supervisor of problems.
• Relay information to Group Leads and Supervisors.
• Read/interpret safety rules, operating instructions, SOPs.
• Perform basic math and count boards/sheets.
• Recognize/report machine issues.
• Follow line schedule, Black Book, and QC specs.
• Perform visual inspections; report defects to Machine Operator.
• Execute PPE and 5-S SOPs.
• Understand all QC checks and use tools for timely QC checks.
• Maintain tools and equipment in Fab work areas.
