Job summary

Baby Love LLC in Arvada, CO is seeking a daytime nanny for one 10-week-old baby girl. This in-home, 3 days per week position starts ASAP and runs until January 2027, with October at 20 hours weekly and November–December at 30 hours weekly.

Responsibilities include keeping to sleep & feeding schedules, monitoring well-being, soothing, diapering, coordinating feedings with Mom, light housekeeping for baby gear, and providing developmentally appropriate activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow sleep schedules and feeding plans for the infant.

Job description

This is a 3 day-per-week, daytime, in-home position based in Arvada, CO.Position starts ASAP and will last until January 2027 when baby will begin daycare

Preferred schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00am-2:30-3:00pm for a total of 20 hours per week for the month of October.

November and December schedule will be 30 hours per week with the schedule to be agreed upon by family and nanny

As a Nanny you will provide daytime care for one 10 week old baby girl.

Your daily tasks will include adhering to sleep schedules and goals as laid out by parents, monitoring well-being, responsive soothing, coordinating feedings with Mom who is breast feeding, diaper changes, as well as offering expert advice on child development and care practices, developmentally appropriate activities and baby-related duties such as cleaning pump parts, bottles, toys, baby laundry etc.

Family prioritizes the health and safety of their baby requesting CPR/First Aid as well as recommended vaccinations of TDap, MMR, Hepatitis B and the most recent Covid-19 and influenza vaccines

These easy-going work from home parents run a small business and are flexible on days and schedule for care. There are no pets in the home.

This is a W-2 position with 20 hours per week through October, transitioning to 30 hours per week for November and December.

This position will include several winter holidays and the family is flexible and open to discussing care needs during this specific period

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with these first time parents and their little one

Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with parents and ability & willingness to track activity on app or text summaries at the end of the day of events (feedings, diaper changes, etc)

Experience or knowledge in basic pediatric medical needs including administering typical medications (Mylicon, Tylenol etc)

Understanding of age appropriate feeding schedules and nap routines for infants. Lots of cuddling involved - baby still enjoys contact naps!

Relevant certifications CPR and First Aid as well as proof of vaccination status

Demonstrated ability to work with children and families in a professional and empathetic manner as evidenced by recent references

Previous 2 years professional consistent experience as a Nanny required

Reliable transportation as evidenced by current vehicle registration
