Armor Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Corrections Center of NW Ohio (CCNO) in Stryker, OH. You will provide holistic nursing care in a correctional setting and support physicians and nurses with exams, treatments, and routine procedures.

Requirements include an active LPN license, CPR certification, and EMR proficiency. A Level 2 background check and drug screen are also required. Armor Health offers competitive pay and strong benefits in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Assist health care providers with examinations, treatments, tests, and routine procedures.
• Obtain patient history, collect specimens, document vital signs, and administer TB skin tests.
• Conduct lab tests and ensure results reach the appropriate physician or nurse.
• Ensure patients receive appropriate care for injuries or conditions.
• Review patient charts and report observed symptoms, changes in condition, and treatments.
• Coordinate transfers to medical facilities, administer medications, and document contacts using POMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Assist health care providers, registered nurses, and allied health professionals with examinations, treatments, special tests, and routine procedures.
• Obtain patient health history, laboratory specimens, vital signs and administers TB skin tests.
• Conduct lab tests and ensures the results are delivered to the correct physician or registered nurse.
• Ensure patient is receiving proper care for injury or condition.
• Review patient chart; records and reports observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patient's conditions.
• Coordinate patient transfers to medical facilities or outside health care providers; administer medications; implement healthcare practitioners' orders; and document all patient contacts using the POMR format.

Qualifications
