Job summary

Adapt of the Hudson Valley Inc. seeks a Habilitation Specialist, Day Hab to assist the Assistant Director in managing the Day Hab and Open Vistas programs, including free-standing sites and community activities.

You will help develop diverse, quality activities, ensure safety and wellbeing of all participants, and work with Day Hab staff to move individuals toward independence in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operation of the Day Hab program and Open Vistas.
• Oversee Day Hab site, individual cases, and without walls programs to ensure quality activities.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of all served individuals in attendance and community contexts.
• Supervise DSP staff through Shift Leaders in on-site and off-site programs.
