Sweeping Corporation of America is hiring a Day Diesel Mechanic to maintain street sweepers and related equipment in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role demands inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on hydraulic, electrical, and air systems on our fleet.

You will perform preventive maintenance, follow safety protocols, and document work orders while ensuring minimal downtime. This is a full-time, first-shift position with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 2 years in a shop environment with hydraulic, electrical, and air systems; heavy equipment experience preferred.
• License: Valid Driver’s License.
• Tools: Provide and maintain basic hand and diagnostic tools.
• Age: At least 18 years old.
• Compliance: Pass MVR, background check, DOT physical, and drug screening.

• Execution: Maintenance tasks per specs and blueprints.
