Job summary

Campus Services Group is hiring a Day Custodian to keep the school clean and safe. Hours are Mon-Fri, 7am–3:30pm, at 4075 Paces Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30327.

You’ll perform daily janitorial tasks and help maintain high cleanliness standards while coordinating with staff and students. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and prior school custodial experience preferred; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; and the willingness to undergo a background check and comply with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a school setting preferred.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Must comply with vaccination policies as required by state/local/customers.
• Ability to stand and walk 6–8 hours daily; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial tasks in entryways, corridors, classrooms, cafeterias, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, floors, and commodes, replenishing lavatory supplies.
• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and remove graffiti.
• Use cleaning solutions safely and follow safety precautions.
• Report equipment needs and malfunctions to supervisors.
• Assist with event support and respond to paging systems promptly.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures.
• Ensure customer service and cleaning standards are met.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
• Must complete all responsibilities without supervision after training.
• Must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers.

• Must provide a criminal background check.
