Job summary

Chief Seattle Club seeks a Day Center Manager to oversee member services and all related programs at the Pioneer Square Day Center. You will supervise staff, coordinate with partner agencies, and ensure program quality and safety for a primarily low-income Native population.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a focus on coordinating events, reporting, and collaborating across departments to implement new initiatives.

Qualifications

• BA or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience; preferably in a non-profit social service setting.
• Excellent typing, verbal, written and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Organized and creative; leadership and teambuilding are a must.
• Must possess a valid WA state driver’s license and 3 year clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CSC programs: Member Services and Partner Agency Services.
• Coordinate monthly Partner meetings with Partner Agencies.
• Ensure duties of Member Service Coordinators and Front Desk Coordinators are fulfilled.
• Attend weekly department meetings to ensure programs run smoothly.
• Interview new members and approve member applications.
• Collaborate with Development Manager on clothing donations and Amazon wish lists.
• Create and maintain monthly statistics reports and submit for Board Reports.
• Assist Operations Director and support program/budget data gathering.
• Plan year-long Program activities and cultural events for the Club.
• Collaborate with Kitchen on cultural events.
