Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. invites applicants for a store associate role at our Ventura, CA location. You will help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.

You will also participate in truck unloading, stocking, and keeping shelves well merchandised. This position emphasizes customer service, adherence to SOPs, and participation in omnichannel services such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling to standards.
• Standing and moving around the store for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout and cash handling to standards
• Enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
• Assist with omni-channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain in-stock merchandise and support recovery processes
• Support store safety programs and SOP compliance
