Job summary

Gerrity's Supermarkets is seeking a Baker to support the Bakery Department. You will work under the Bakery Manager to prepare dough, decorate pastries, and maintain cleanliness while upholding Gerrity’s customer service standards.

The position requires attention to safety policies, proper dress, and the ability to work as part of a team. Prior bakery experience is described as Intermediate in the posting, with an hourly pay of $17.00.

Qualifications

• Ability to hear, speak, and understand the spoken word.
• Ability to read, write, analyze, interpret and understand English.
• No minimum educational requirement needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough for oven.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bakery area and equipment.
• Assist in finishing and filling donuts, pastries, pies and cakes.
• Adhere to safety policies and dress code.
• Attend to workstation at start of shift.
• Ensure high standards of customer service.
