Job summary

Astrion seeks a Datalinks Test Engineer - Mid Level to join the TGBC team at Eglin AFB, Valparaiso, FL. This full-time, on-site role involves planning, developing, and executing test events for the US Air Force's Datalinks program, with travel up to 35% and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree and 3–10 years related experience, strong teamwork and technical communication skills, and proficiency with data link systems (Link 16, SADL, JREAP) and network

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 3–10 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
• Experience with TDL, data link radios, RF waves and propagation, and computer networking.
• Ability to participate on a test team to meet exercise, demonstration, or test requirements.
• Ability to execute test scripts, run test procedures, and collect data for post-test analysis.
• Proficient with MS Office applications and basic technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute all aspects of test events.
• Serve as a test lead or support a lead as a team member.
• Collaborate with the TGBC team at Eglin AFB to support 46 Test Squadron requirements.
• Prepare and present briefings, plans, and reports.
