Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Data Links Test Engineer - Mid-Level to join the TGBC team at Eglin AFB, FL. You will lead test planning, design test architectures, and work with DoD programs to collect and analyze data exchange requirements.

The role requires a technical degree, 3-10 years of relevant experience, and a Secret clearance. Expect up to 25% travel across CONUS/OCONUS and routine collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline with 3-10 years of relevant experience; greater experience may substitute education.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for Secret clearance; interim clearance required to start.
• Experience in TDL, data link radios, RF waves, and computer networking; test execution experience.
• Ability to develop and execute test scripts, collect post-test data, and present results.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 25% and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer-facing TGBC focal point for test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Design and document test equipment architectures to meet information exchange requirements.
• Advise government on lead command responsibilities and supported capabilities.
• Draft and edit program documentation including test plans, data-analysis plans, and reports.
• Travel to various sites for planning, execution, data analysis, and reporting activities.
