Job summary

Compass Mining, INC. Crockett, Texas seeks a Datacenter Technician I to join the Facility Operations team responsible for 24x7 operation and security of critical infrastructure.

You will perform routine maintenance, monitor hardware, install servers for onboarding, and travel to mining facilities for site inspections, working with onsite teams to keep assets safe and functional. This role requires a technical IT degree or certifications and at least 1 year in a critical infrastructure

Qualifications

• Technical degree in IT or equivalent certifications.
• At least 1 year in a critical infrastructure environment.
• Capable of working in a 24x7 team setting.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting, HVAC, plumbing, security, or fire protection preferred.
• IT infrastructure maintenance experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on facilities and hardware.
• Monitor hardware.
• Complete day to day tasks safely and efficiently.
• Respond to and remediate equipment faults.
• Assist in onboarding by installing servers.
• Travel to mining facilities for site inspections.
• Maintain logs for service and maintenance on assets.
