Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead - Datacenters within the Mission Critical & Industrial group.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, balance hands-on work with mentorship, and own delivery for high-stakes electrical infrastructure projects, including data centers and large-scale facilities. The role emphasizes client interaction, technical direction, and growth opportunities as NEI continues to expand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in industrial, oil & gas or power systems related environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical work and mentor engineers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work in technically complex environments.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team supporting industrial and mission-critical clients and mentor engineers.
• Maintain regular client interaction, ensuring delivery and technical direction.
• Partner with project managers to define scope, manage budgets, and mitigate risks.
• Drive growth through value engineering and effective proposals.
• Uphold NEI’s engineering standards, QA/QC processes, and policies.
