Job summary

EEI is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to drive commissioning execution for mission-critical facilities and data centers. You will guide cross-functional teams, coordinate complex field activities, and ensure installations meet project requirements and client expectations.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in electrical systems, advanced knowledge of power distribution, and proven leadership. This hybrid role involves site visits and collaboration with clients, vendors, and project teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical systems, commissioning, facilities operations, engineering, construction, maintenance, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS, generators, PDUs, controls, and related equipment.
• Ability to lead electrical commissioning execution and coordinate complex projects.
• Advanced understanding of MEP systems, controls, and integrated building operations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, sequences, and commissioning plans.
• Strong troubleshooting, QA, leadership, communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and commissioning documentation tools.
• Currently authorized to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical commissioning execution for systems supporting mission-critical facilities and data centers.
• Oversee field execution, functional testing, and closeout activities across projects.
• Serve as escalation point for complex electrical issues and drive resolution with stakeholders.
• Align commissioning activities with project scope, schedule, and client expectations.
• Communicate project status, technical findings, risks, and follow-up needs with clients and teams.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching for Electrical team members.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Professional certifications (PE/LEED/CxA/PMP)
