Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in USA - Lancaster, OH, is seeking a Data Center Associate for B shift (2pm-10:30pm). You will handle material orders, customer service, and inventory management, and assist with server assembly and component installation using hand and power tools.

The role emphasizes site interaction with customers, safety adherence, and cross-training across datacenter operations. Experience with computers and a willingness to pass background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to/from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight; verify part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts.
• Process return shipments using multiple warehouse systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor with precision.
• Populate components and install cabling into server racks per diagrams.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power, measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and pallet jacks.
• Maintain area safety and 5S standards.
