Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA (New Albany) seeks a Data Center Associate for the Pharmacy B-Shift (M-F 2:00pm–10:30PM). The role involves assembling and installing servers and electronic components and maintaining effective material orders, customer service, and inventory control on site.

Key duties include loading/unloading freight, performing quality checks, daily inventory cycle counts, processing returns, installing server racks and cabling, and operating warehouse

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience.
• Must be able to pass government and company background checks.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Experience with computers and basic electrical safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts.
• Install server racks and cabling using diagrams and schematics.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and adherence to 5S standards.
• Punctuality and reliability; cross-train across datacenter departments.
