Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in the USA (Lockbourne) is seeking a Data Center Associate (A-Shift, Mon-Fri 6 AM-2:30 PM) to handle material orders, customer service, and inventory management while assembling and installing servers and components.

The role requires 1-3 years of related experience, computer proficiency, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Base pay is $21/hour with opportunities for growth and a strong benefits program.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience is required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols is required.
• Experience with computers is required.
• Must be able to pass background checks, drug and alcohol tests as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, ensuring accuracy of part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
