Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect for Forward Deployed Engineer work, primarily remote in the United States. This full-time role offers compensation aligned to industry rates for experienced engineers and opportunities to work with enterprise customers on the Databricks platform.

You will design data pipelines, lead customer engagements, and develop Databricks applications, collaborating with distributed teams to ensure scalable, production‑readiness and successful platform adoption.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Databricks and its ecosystem (Databricks Runtime, notebooks, Delta Lake, MLflow).
• Proven full-stack development expertise (Python, Java/Scala, APIs, and front-end frameworks).
• Strong background in building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data engineering solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support data pipelines on the Databricks platform for enterprise customers.
• Lead engagements as a solutions architect, collaborating with customers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, production‑ready solutions.
• Develop Databricks applications, leveraging full‑stack skills to meet customer business needs.
• Work closely with customer teams to plan migrations, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful adoption of Databricks.
