Job summary

KPI Partners is seeking a senior Databricks Architect to own the Databricks Data & Analytics Platform architecture and roadmap. This 100% remote role in the EST time zone focuses on platform leadership rather than hands-on development.

Lead end-to-end Databricks Lakehouse solutions, including Unity Catalog governance, Medallion architecture, and Databricks SQL. Collaborate with security, governance, BI, and AI/ML teams to drive scalable data platforms.

Qualifications

• Senior Databricks Architect with enterprise-scale experience.
• Experience leading architecture decisions for multiple Databricks implementations.
• Strong design skills for data lakehouse platforms, governance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Databricks Lakehouse solutions including architecture and platform leadership.
• Define overall Databricks platform architecture, governance, and data access models.
• Own the Databricks platform roadmap and establish standards, CI/CD, and security practices.
• Lead architecture reviews across multiple Databricks workstreams and teams.
• Collaborate with business, data engineering, analytics, security, and governance teams.
