Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Databricks Senior Architect to lead the architecture and delivery of a Databricks-based data platform across data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML. You will anchor technical direction and mentor teams while delivering production-ready workloads.

Responsibilities include defining end-to-end architecture, implementing Medallion patterns, Unity Catalog governance, and secure, scalable pipelines in Databricks on Azure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data, analytics or AI roles with hands-on architecture/tech-lead responsibilities.
• Proven Databricks experience with Medallion architecture, ingestion and AI/ML workloads.
• Hands-on with Azure Databricks on Azure security, networking, identity and storage.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end Databricks Lakehouse architecture and patterns.
• Lead design, development, deployment to production across hybrid teams.
• Establish engineering standards: CI/CD, observability, runbooks.
• Design streaming and batch pipelines (Auto Loader, DLT, Structured Streaming).
• Govern data via Unity Catalog, RBAC, and data security controls.
• Collaborate with security, infra, and governance teams.
