Job summary

Thought Logic Consulting is seeking an experienced Managing Consultant, Databricks Engineer/Architect in Minneapolis to lead delivery of data engineering solutions. You will design scalable pipelines, implement data quality and governance, and drive modern data practices for enterprise clients.

Collaborate with architects and consultants, own technical delivery, and develop client-facing skills while mentoring others in a fast-growing data & analytics practice.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data engineering/architecture experience, incl. 2+ years hands-on Databricks

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data engineering solutions using Databricks Lakehouse and Delta Lake.
• Develop and optimize batch, micro-batch, and streaming data pipelines (Auto Loader, Spark, PySpark, SQL, Python).
• Build ETL/ELT processes, data models, and orchestration workflows (Databricks Workflows, Airflow, dbt).
• Implement data quality, governance, observability, and performance optimization across data platforms.
• Establish CI/CD and DevOps for data engineering (Terraform, Infrastructure as Code).
