Job summary

Lake County, Illinois is seeking a Database Systems Analyst & Programmer to support and develop applications for the Court organization. The role designs, codes, tests, and analyzes software, researching and modifying specifications to deliver effective solutions.

The position requires strong technical expertise, independent work, and after-hours Help Desk support, reporting to the Director of Judicial Information Systems & Technology.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in computer science or master’s degree.
• Experience with enterprise and desktop applications preferred.
• Knowledge of Django and Python preferred.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support and development of new applications for the Court organization.
• Design, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications.
• Research, design, modify software specifications, and resolve issues.
• Provide daily and after-hours Help Desk support as needed.
• Create documentation explaining processes, procedures, system changes.
