Job description

3 days onsite and 2 days remote
prefer Richardson, but open to Chicago
***/hour max bill rate

a) Install, deploy and configure Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance and related technologies
b) Provide recommendations to application team on which database use for the production use cases
c) Work with automation engineers and provide database options to setup infrastructure as code for provisioning
d) Setup standards for setting up databases in azure along with networking best practices
e) Establish good security practices and standards associated with it
f) Support production Database Administrators to understand the Azure PaaS options and setup using best practices
g) Disaster Recovery setup
h) Understand Azure platform well to know the different options for database setup
i) Assist with automation and infrastructure as code efforts with the team as database Subject Matter Expert
j) Experience with azure networking and security
