Our global insurance client is looking for expertise from a REMOTE Database Automation Consultant starting in July.

The Problem We're Trying to Solve

The client has around 3,000 team charts that they create per year for various proposal and marketing materials. The team charts consist of the team members who would be servicing a particular project and includes their contact information and headshot in a fully branded format. The challenge is that this takes 30 minutes per team chart to manually do.

The client is seeking a solution to automate this process and reduce the creation time of these team charts to mere seconds as well as export it directly into PowerPoint, Excel, and possibly other platforms like InDesign.

Background

To demonstrate the basic function they're seeking, the client created a prototype that includes an Excel spreadsheet with sample information that exports the desired team chart into a PowerPoint deck via a macro.

What We're Looking For

The idea is to create a self-service application that any employee can use to create these team charts and insert them into PowerPoint. The goal is for an expert to evaluate the client's prototype and expand on it (or suggest an alternative method), creating something that is efficient, effective, scalable and user-friendly. The Consultant should be well-versed in databases and be able to execute and build this out for the client.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.
