Job Title: Database Analyst – Advisor

Overview:

Seeking a seasoned Database Analyst – Advisor to support critical healthcare systems that improve access, outcomes, and cost-efficiency. This role focuses on optimizing data platforms, supporting database operations, and advancing data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimize databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Aurora-Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake) in a cloud environment
• Design and implement ETL pipelines and data models
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshoot system issues
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams
• Support Snowflake administration, including RBAC, objects, monitoring, and automation
• Coach junior team members and ensure high-quality deliverables

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in IT operations/development
• Strong experience in Snowflake, SQL, and ETL design
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub, scripting (Python preferred)
• Active Snowflake certification required
• Background in federal or healthcare data environments is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
