The Oracle Database Manager leads and oversees the administration, integrity, security, and performance of enterprise Oracle database environments. This role is responsible for managing a team of database professionals, guiding architectural decisions, ensuring compliance with standards, and optimizing database operations to support organizational goals.
The Oracle DBA Manager collaborates closely with application teams, infrastructure groups, security, and business stakeholders to deliver highly available and scalable Oracle database solutions. They provide strategic direction and hands‑on expertise to maintain current platforms, modernize legacy systems, and support future growth across mission‑critical workloads.
This is an onsite position at the Indiana Government Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $79,118.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours that may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and/or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
A degree is not required. However, at least 11+ years of experience applying the outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role may be considered.
This role may provide direct supervision for one or more staff members.
