Bcore is seeking a highly experienced Database Engineer to design and implement relational databases on‑prem and cloud platforms in Warrenton/Tysons, VA. You will work across infrastructure, application, security, and data teams to drive modernization and operational excellence while ensuring secure, scalable data solutions.

Ideal candidates bring hands‑on expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), plus scripting and CI/CD for database deployments.

Qualifications

• Relational database technologies on‑prem and cloud: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS/Azure/Cloud SQL.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Core competencies include HA/DR, performance tuning, backup/recovery, security/compliance, migration to cloud/hybrid, Linux/Windows servers, scripting, and CI/CD for DB deployments.
