Job summary

Bcore in Warrenton and Tysons, VA seeks a highly accomplished Systems Engineer to support mission services for government and client environments. This hands-on role spans cloud and on-prem architectures, security, and DevSecOps across diverse platforms.

You will lead design, documentation, and implementation of future-state systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and security while collaborating across infrastructure, platform, and data teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education, certs, training, and experience
• Minimum ten (10) years of related systems engineering experience
• Hands-on experience across infrastructure, platforms, and application ecosystems spanning cloud and on‑prem environments
• Experience with enterprise networking, storage, containers, Linux administration, PKI, and identity management
• Proficiency implementing security best practices and system hardening

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Systems Engineer with deep expertise across infrastructure, platforms, and application ecosystems spanning cloud and on-premises environments
• Analyze existing systems and documents current state architectures
• Design future-state solutions and implement system enhancements end-to-end
• Collaborate across infrastructure, platform, application, DevSecOps, and information systems security teams
• Own system reliability, performance, scalability, and security
