Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer / DBA with strong PTC Windchill expertise to support a major PLM infrastructure reboot initiative. The engineer will be responsible for designing, installing, configuring, optimizing, and supporting database infrastructure for production and non-production Windchill environments.

The role will support a large-scale PLM environment managing 120K+ parts and 600+ engineering change orders per month, with a critical focus on performance, reliability, scalability, backup/recovery, and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage databases supporting PTC Windchill PLM environments.
• Build and support production and non-production database environments.
• Administer Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.
• Configure and maintain database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Implement and support high-availability and database resiliency solutions.
