Application Manager — PTC Windchill (Infra PLM Systems)

Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking a senior Windchill PLM Administrator to own PLM processes including item/part master data, BOMs, lifecycles, and ECR/ECO workflows. You will manage CAD/PDM collaboration with Creo, workspaces, and document management.

You will define requirements, prioritize enhancements and defects, develop user stories with acceptance criteria, and lead UAT planning, readiness, and production rollouts.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT/application experience with at least 5+ years on PTC Windchill PLM implementation.
• Strong end-to-end enterprise applications experience: configuration, UAT, rollout and production support.
• Hands-on with PTC Windchill PDMLink.
• Deep PLM/PDM knowledge: BOM management, change control, workflows and lifecycles.
• Experience with Creo + Windchill workspaces and CAD collaboration.
• Solid incident management, troubleshooting, and RCA skills.
• Experience collaborating with vendors for escalations and support.
• Knowledge of RBAC, SSO fundamentals, access governance, and enterprise compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own Windchill PLM processes including item/part data, BOMs, lifecycles, and ECR/ECO workflows.

• Gather requirements, prioritize enhancements/defects, and develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Define and track KPIs related to adoption, stability, cycle time, and backlog health.
• Lead UAT planning, readiness, go/no-go decisions, and production rollouts.
• Act as escalation point for production incidents; drive RCA and resolution.
• Coordinate with PTC/vendor support for technical escalations.
• Maintain runbooks, knowledge-base documentation, and training materials.
• Own RBAC, access governance, provisioning/deprovisioning, and least-privilege controls.
• Support DEV/TEST/PROD environments, release coordination, health checks, and upgrade readiness.
• Partner with engineering teams on upgrades, patching, monitoring, and operational tooling.

Required Qualification

• s15+ years of overall IT/application experience with at least 5+ years of PTC Windchill PLM implementation experience

• .Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PDMLink
• .Strong understanding of PLM/PDM, BOM management, change management, workflows, lifecycles, attributes, and templates
• .Experience with Creo + Windchill workspaces and CAD collaboration
• .Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and RCA skills
• .Experience working directly with vendors for technical escalations and support
• .Knowledge of RBAC, SSO fundamentals, access governance, and enterprise compliance controls
