This onsite role focuses on managing, optimizing, and automating database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on PostgreSQL and SQL Server experience, knowledge of Oracle as a supplemental skill, and be comfortable scripting (Shell/Python/PowerShell) to automate DB

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL (Primary skill).
• Microsoft SQL Server administration and optimization.
• Working knowledge of Oracle; optional.
• Automation using Ansible for DB provisioning and config.
• Scripting knowledge (Shell/Python/PowerShell) is a plus.
• Ability to ensure high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases across environments
• Perform database tuning, performance optimization, and query optimization
• Manage backup, recovery, replication, and high availability setups
• Automate database provisioning and configuration using Ansible

Role Overview
