Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Database Engineer to manage PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases with exposure to Oracle and Ansible-based automation. You will optimize performance, ensure high availability, and support migrations in a fast-paced environment.

Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server is required, along with scripting skills in Shell/Python/PowerShell. You will collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to secure data and enable scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on PostgreSQL and SQL Server experience.
• Oracle knowledge is optional but preferred.
• Experience automating with Ansible and scripting with Shell/Python/PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases across environments.

• Manage backup, recovery, replication, and high availability setups.
• Automate database provisioning and configuration using Ansible.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Database Engineer with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and SQL Server, along with exposure to Oracle and automation using Ansible. The role involves managing, optimizing, and automating database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.

Technical Skills Required

Core Database Skills
