Job summary

RIVA Solutions Inc. is seeking a Database Engineer to design, secure, and optimize Azure SQL Database, Managed Instance, and Cosmos DB in support of the NTIA ISCOM program. This onsite role at the Dept.

of Commerce in Washington, DC, requires 4+ years of database engineering, strong Azure expertise, and U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret clearance. You will collaborate with DevOps, implement security controls, and help maintain mission-critical systems through robust backup, DR, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years database engineering experience.
• Expertise with Azure SQL Database, Managed Instance, Cosmos DB, T-SQL, PowerShell, Azure CLI.
• Experience with Azure PaaS/IaaS, performance tuning, backup, security, and DevOps.
• U.S. Citizenship and Active Secret clearance.

Program Overview

Supports the NTIA ISCOM program by engineering secure Azure and hybrid database solutions supporting mission-critical Federal systems.

Position Overview

• Experience with Azure PaaS/IaaS, performance tuning, backup, security, and DevOps.
• U.S. Citizenship and Active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Database Administrator certification.
• Department of Commerce or NTIA experience.
• Hybrid or multi-cloud database experience.

Salary
