Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Database Engineer to provide subject matter proficiency for USAF missions. The role involves analytical work to support process improvement, requirement definition, and development of functional models and architectures.

The position requires active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly, and at least 10 years of related experience, including extensive PostgreSQL work and Enterprise DB expertise. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
• 10 years of combined experience in database development and software engineering; database design and data modeling; requirements analysis; and system architectures.
• 5 years' experience with Enterprise DB.
• 7 years' experience with PostgreSQL.
• Demonstrated experience developing automated installation scripts.
• Experience developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.
• Role may require travel to a site 10-20% of the time.
