We are urgently looking for a Database Architect in Southlake, TX. Please review the below Job Description and send me suitable profiles:

Role: Database Architect

Location: Southlake, TX (100% Remote)

Duration: 6 Months Plus

Visa: Any visa except OPT & CPT (as per EC requirements)

End Client: Confidential till resume selection

Rate: $65 on CTC

Experience: Minimum 10 years

Scope of Work:

1. Review current solutions and provide guidance for assigned projects
2. Identify best practices and standards for the team
3. Attend daily agile calls
4. Identify migration strategies and solutions
5. Decompose solutions into Agile stories and timelines
6. Ensure stability and high availability for all projects
7. Manage request lifecycle using ITSM tools (SNOW/Rally)
8. Create documentation and update knowledge repositories
9. Support incident management for projects
10. Collaborate with leaders and organizations to review solutions
11. Plan capacity for migration strategies
12. Ensure solutions meet performance SLAs
13. Must have understanding of new technologies; Oracle 19c is critical.

Technical Skills:

• Must have: SME on Oracle and Couchbase/document databases, expert in replication and high availability technologies
• Knowledge of Git, Linux OS, automation tools (Shell, Python, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform), cloud concepts, and architecture design

Experience:

• 2 years in architecture
• 6 years in database architecture or engineering
• 2 years in database operations

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of MySQL, SQL Server, RDS, CyberArk, IDM

Responsibilities:

Includes DB engineering and end-to-end architecture design, working closely with leadership and operations teams.
