The Database Administrator maintains database integrity, security, availability, and compliance with business processes throughout the life cycle.
Knowledge in use of the following databases: Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, Postgres
Performs disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring.
Evaluates and recommends database management system products. Performs database and application server administration. Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage. Education & Related Experience: Ten (10) years of experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Salary Range: $135-$165k annually Salary ranges are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to: Knowledge, skills, & abilities Years of experience Education/Certifications Program placement Duties & responsibilities Internal equity More detailed information will be provided once those factors are known and addressed.
OVERTIME STATEMENT: 40 hours is the standard workweek. Some programs may allow additional hours to be worked as needed. A limited number of programs have on-call requirements where compensation is provided for being engaged to wait. In all circumstances, technical employees will be paid for all time worked.
BONUS STATEMENT:
All billable employees are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses that are based on the number of hours worked for that period. This hourly requirement is roughly 92% of hours available to bill in a given quarter. Quarterly Hours Bonuses are paid out on the same payroll as the time worked in that prior quarter (typically 21 days after the quarter ends.)
