Job summary

Constellation Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Database Administrator to support federal contract requirements. The role requires US citizenship, an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph (polygraph in the last five years), and a technical bachelor's degree with 10 years of DBA experience.

Responsibilities include organizing data, administering Oracle/SQL Server/SYBASE, implementing security policies, and directing installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required. Four years of additional DBA experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Ten years of experience as a Database Admin in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity are required.
• Experience with engineering systems lifecycle from conception to decommissioning.

• Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes.
• Provide server administration for Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure database security and integrity.
• Direct installation of database management systems, databases, tables, and views.
• Linux experience is strongly preferred.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (Polygraph should be in the last five (05) years).
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (04) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Must have ten (10) years of experience as a Database Admin in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Relevant experience must be in engineering systems over their lifecycle (for example, conception, design & development, testing, production, distribution/deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning).
• Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes
• Provide server administration with a variety of database products that include Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE
• Develop policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database
• Direct the installation of database management systems, databases, tables and views
• Linux experience STRONGLY preferred
