Job summary

Division of Water Resources is seeking a Database Administrator to support data reporting and eRule compliance initiatives. The role involves presenting to diverse audiences, preparing reports, and facilitating data flows between internal systems and EPA databases.

The candidate should have an IT background with Python, SQL, Power BI, and SAP Business Objects, plus Excel and data verification skills. Outreach and training on e-reporting will also be part of the duties.

Qualifications

• IT background with proficiency in Python and SQL languages.
• Proficiency in Power BI and SAP Business Objects, Excel, and data verification.
• Ability to prepare data-driven reports and familiarity with regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of reports for EPA NPDES eRule compliance.
• Bridge IT and program teams as a technical program representative.
• Develop training materials and documentation for forms and e-reporting.
• Map data between systems and manage data flows to DWR and EPA databases.
• Provide outreach and training on e-reporting and NPDES data management.
• Deliver strong data quality and customer-service to internal and external users.
