Job summary

Golden State Water Company is seeking a Water Quality Analyst to support the data management, reporting, and regulatory compliance for its California service areas. The incumbent will maintain databases, track compliance, and prepare routine and ad hoc reports from databases for daily operations and long-term goals.

The role involves data analysis, QA/QC, and coordination of document management, with exposure to hydraulic modeling and cross-connection control programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, chemistry, biology, or related discipline strongly preferred.
• Two years of progressively responsible experience in three or more of: water quality, environmental regulations, compliance tracking, database management, data analysis, cross connection control, hydraulic modeling, and reporting writing.

Responsibilities

• Implements, maintains and ensures compliance with water quality and environmental regulations within the district.
• Assist in preparing reports for compliance (DDW Annual Report, CCR, Public Health Goal Report, NPDES.
