Job summary

Constellation Technologies seeks a DBA to support federal contracts requiring TS/SCI clearance and polygraph. The role administers Oracle, SQL Server and Sybase databases to ensure security, performance and availability, and is on call to support system operations.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (last polygraph within 5 years).
• Ten (10) years' experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (04) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Maintains the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s).
• Administers, maintains and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.
• Evaluates and recommend available database management system (DBMS) products.
• Performs database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability.
• Performs Oracle, SQL Server and SYBASE Database and Application server administration.

• Perform Oracle, SQL Server and Sybase database and application server administration.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Candidate would be expected to be “On call” to support system operations.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (last polygraph must be within the last five (05) years)
• Must have Ten (10) years' experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (i.e. Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (04) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Maintains the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s). Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
• Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.
• Evaluates and recommend available database management system (DBMS) products.
• Performs database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.
• Performs Oracle, SQL Server and SYBASE Database and Application server administration. Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage processes.
