Job summary

Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP is seeking a Reporting and Analytics Developer to join our Atlanta team. The role focuses on building the data warehousing and reporting environment, including developing models and Power BI dashboards to support operational and strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of software development or data analytics experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with BI tools like Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and related SSIS/SSAS/SSRS technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics or related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software development or a related technical role.
• Strong proficiency in writing and debugging SQL statements.
• Experience with reporting, modeling or BI technologies including Power BI, Power Query, DAX.
• Familiarity with SSIS/SSAS/SSRS and REST APIs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to gather requirements, define success criteria and translate business needs into technical and analytical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain data models, Power BI dashboards, SSRS/PBIRS reporting and performance metrics.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to retrieve, validate, reconcile and mitigate data discrepancies.
• Support data conversion and migration activities, including customizations and automation.
• Create and maintain documentation, data definitions and reporting standards for data governance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
