Job summary

Privia Health is seeking a Product Owner for the Data Warehouse to own projects around our central data repository, cloud infrastructure, and related processes. You will define business needs for the data engineering team, ensuring scalable, accurate, and accessible data platforms as a trusted internal resource.

The role requires strong SQL skills, data profiling, and the ability to validate complex data logic.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and database concepts; able to investigate issues and validate data independently.
• Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements including data mapping and schema definitions.
• Proven ability to translate stakeholder requests into actionable user stories for engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Agile ceremonies and practices; ability to facilitate planning and retrospectives.
• Ability to describe healthcare data sources and nuances of healthcare datasets.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clarify, and document detailed technical requirements including data mapping, transformation logic, and schema definitions.
• Verify that delivered data products meet business needs through SQL-based validation.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog and translate stakeholder requests into actionable user stories.
• Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, release planning, and reviews.
• Track project timelines from scope to QA and launch to ensure deadlines are met.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular status updates on risks and dependencies.
• Ensure SLAs are met and maintain existing projects with high quality deliveries.
• Provide production support and clear communication around releases.
• Create technical user documentation, data dictionaries, and end-user training materials.
• Act as SME for data warehouse products and enable teams to leverage data assets.
