Job summary

ISN Software Corporation seeks a seasoned Team Lead – Data Warehouse & Decision Support to steer data engineering direction and oversee daily operations of ISN’s data estate. You will lead pipelines, models, and semantic layers with a strong focus on reliability and insights for decision support.

The role is 25% people leadership and 75% hands-on technical work, involving Fabric, Databricks, SQL Server, and advanced analytics. Dallas-area onsite preferred with leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering/data warehousing experience in a dynamic, data-rich environment.
• Strong hands-on data warehouse and ETL/ELT operations experience, production pipelines monitoring and tuning.
• 3+ years of leadership/project leadership experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, SQL, ETL and Python.
• Experience with Databricks and Fabric including lakehouse architectures and semantic models.
• Proficiency with Python (PySpark) for data engineering within Fabric/SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the data warehouse, ETL environment, and semantic/reporting layers, ensuring reliability and timely data.
• Design and drive adoption of Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and SQL Server for data engineering and lakehouse workloads.
• Collaborate with architecture, governance, security, and platform teams to ensure access controls and cost management across cloud environments.
• Write and review complex SQL and pipeline code; act as final reviewer for major data model/pipeline changes.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI/LLMs to data engineering workflows and guide practical adoption.
