Posting Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking Data Warehouse Developer in the Department of Enterprise Applications and Research Computing (EARC) - Data Management within the Office of Information Technology (OIT). Under the direction of the Director of IT, Consulting Application Developer, supports the university's Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) platform and the strategic Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) initiatives. The role is responsible for data warehouse architecture, data modeling, and integration of Oracle Fusion applications data and other data sources. Designs and implements secure data integrations utilizing data that resides within the Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW). Supports designing OCI access policies to organizational roles and enforcing scalable integration architecture using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), aligning access policies to organizational roles, and enforcing enterprise data governance standards to support data access and reporting needs.
The position works closely with project teams implementing new Oracle and third-party cloud enterprise systems to ensure those platforms are effectively integrated with the data warehouse and aligned to institutional reporting needs, including both centrally developed and unit-level self-service reporting.
The role also supports migration of legacy on-premises data warehouse environments to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), including the development of custom schemas and the expansion of enterprise data assets across multiple business and system domains.
This position collaborates within the centralized Office of Information Technology (OIT) Data management and Reporting team, across other OIT teams, and with university administrative and campus departments to deliver secure, scalable, and well-governed enterprise data solutions.
