Job summary

ABeam Consulting is seeking a Data Warehouse Business Analyst to support a Capital Markets transformation for a leading commercial bank. You will map data, assess impacts, and design integration between market systems and downstream platforms, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders across international, U.S.

Branch, and Capital Markets functions. The role requires 7+ years in Financial Services tech, strong SQL and data analysis skills, and experience with Databricks, Kafka,

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Financial Services tech projects focused on Data Warehouse, data platform and data integration.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
• Strong understanding of data flows between market systems and downstream apps.
• Experience coordinating business, technology and data stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a global environment with teams in Asia and the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree or above, or equivalent experience.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. with travel as needed.

Data Warehouse Business Analyst

Position Overview

Candidate will support a Capital Markets transformation program at a leading commercial bank as a Data Warehouse (DWH) Business Analyst. The role will focus on impact assessment, data analysis, data mapping, and integration design between market systems and downstream platforms. The candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders across international, U.S. Branch, and Capital Markets functions to support the discovery and implementation phases of the program.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Financial Services technology projects with a strong focus on Data Warehouse, Data Platform, and Data Integration business analysis
• Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements
• Strong understanding of data flows between Market Systems and downstream applications
• Experience coordinating business, technology, and data stakeholders
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a global environment with teams in Asia and the U.S.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (data entry, formatting, and basic functions)

• Bachelor’s degree or above, OR equivalent practical experience
• Ability to travel as needed
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English is preferred
• Eligible to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting Capital Markets, Treasury, Rates, or FX projects
• Experience with data mapping, data lineage, and impact assessment
• Experience with Databricks, Kafka, Event Hub, or similar data integration technologies
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and real-time data integration
• Knowledge of Regulatroy Reporting
• Experience working on cross-border projects involving Japan and overseas offices
